Ijanaposa Company Limited
The right machine

Chosen on the load, the radius and the site.

Fit to work on the day

Inspected, certificates current, and nothing released that has failed a check.

Someone who can operate it

Certification confirmed in date, and competency recorded machine by machine.

Set down without damage

To the load, to the site, or to anyone standing nearby.

What we commit to

The undertakings behind every job.

We quote only work we can resource

If the machine or the crew is not free on your dates, we tell you. Quotes are itemised, so equipment, crew, mobilisation, duration and standby are each visible before anything is agreed.

Nothing goes out that has failed a check

Whatever the schedule pressure. A defect that affects the safe working load, the brakes or a safety device takes the machine out of service until it is fixed and re-checked.

The scope quoted is the scope delivered

We agree and price any change before it happens.

Records are handed over with the job

Daily sheets, timesheets, delivery notes and inspection records come with the work.

Every complaint gets a cause and an action

An answer, the reason behind it, and a corrective action with an owner.

We ask the crew what goes wrong

Operators and drivers see failures before management does, so we ask them.

From enquiry to close-out

  • Enquiry

The load, the site, the dates and whatever drawings or photographs exist. A photograph of the load and of the site access answers more than a phone call

  • Survey and assessment

Access, ground conditions, working radius, overhead obstructions and the lay-down area. On abnormal loads, the route: bridges, culverts, road width, junctions, overhead lines and permits

  • Selection

The machine is chosen on the load, the radius and the site. Where a heavier machine is the right answer we say so and price it, and where a lighter one will do we say that too

  • Plan

A lift plan or a route plan at the level the risk needs, with the risk assessment and method statement that go with it

  • Quote

Itemised, with the assumptions written down: what we provide, what you provide, what the price depends on, and what would change it

  • Pre-mobilisation checks

Equipment inspected and certificates current, crew allocated and certification confirmed in date, documents assembled for your HSE team

  • Mobilisation

The machine, the crew and the paperwork arrive together, on the agreed date, with a named contact on our side for the duration

  • Execution

Toolbox talk, pre-use checks signed, lift or move carried out to the plan. We re-assess any change on the day before work continues.

  • Close-out and review

Daily sheets, timesheets, delivery notes and inspection records handed over, and we ask what worked and what did not and record it against the job

Equipment condition
Equipment

Equipment condition

We manage our machines through the same system as our safety records.

A record per machine

An asset register per machine, a daily pre-use check signed by the operator, and a maintenance schedule set against hours and kilometres run. Inspection registers and statutory requirements.

A defect route that takes a machine out

The machine comes out of service, goes to the workshop, and is re-checked before it is released. Workshop and repair.

Partner equipment held to the same standard

Equipment that comes to a job from a partner is checked to the same standard, and we do not pass on a certificate we have not seen. Asset management as a service.

People

An operator who places a load first time

An operator who can place a load first time without three repositionings is the difference between a half-day hire and a full one.

Vetted before the first job

Identity, licences, certificates, equipment competency, work history and induction, all checked before anyone is put in front of a client.

Competency recorded by machine

By category, make and capacity class, so the person who arrives has run that class of machine before.

When something goes wrong

Damage, incidents and near misses follow the same route, alongside the safety investigation.

A machine breaks down. A load is delayed by a road closure.

A crew misreads an instruction. An invoice does not match what you expected. When it happens, we do five things.

  • Tell us

By phone, WhatsApp, email or through the site contact. It is logged against the job.

  • Contain it

Whatever is needed to get your work moving again: a replacement machine, a different crew, a revised plan.

  • Find the cause

A failed hydraulic hose is a maintenance question. A late arrival is a scheduling question. A damaged load is a rigging and planning question.

  • Fix the cause

The corrective action goes on the record, with an owner. If it means changing a check sheet, a schedule or a briefing, that is what changes.

  • Come back to you

With what happened, why, and what has changed so that it does not repeat.

Feedback

Repeat work is the measure we trust most

We ask for feedback at the end of every job, from the site people as well as the person who signed the order.

Asked at close-out

What worked and what did not, recorded against the job while the people who ran it can still remember it.

Reviewed together

We review feedback, complaints, incidents and defect trends together, because one root cause shows up in more than one of them.

Standards

What governs the work

Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006

The duties on an employer, and Part XI on lifting equipment: examination by an authorised person, registers, test certificates and safe working load marking.

Traffic and Road Safety Act

Road movements, including the special load permits an over-width, over-height or indivisible load travels under.

National Environment Act 2019

Waste and spill handling, and the licensing that applies to whoever takes our used oil, filters, batteries and tyres away.

Your own system on your site

Where a client's project runs to an international management standard or a contractor's own HSE and quality system, we work to that system on their site.

Ask us how we would run your job

Send the load, the site and the dates

What comes back is an itemised quote with the assumptions written down, and the document pack your team will need before the machine arrives.
