The window is fixed before anything else. We build the sequence, the equipment and the crew backwards from the hour the line has to run again.

Getting the machine in through what already exists

Doorways, roof height, floor loading, columns and existing services all constrain the route into the building. Gantry systems, telehandlers, forklifts, skates and jacking gear do the work a crane cannot do once you are inside four walls.

Setting a machine where it belongs, to a tolerance

Foundation bolts, levelling, alignment and packing. A mill or a press set fractionally out wears early.

A whole factory moved in phases

We plan a relocation as a sequence: which machines come out last so production runs longest, which go in first at the new site, and what is craned or rolled.

Handling equipment between projects

Forklifts and telehandlers for a warehouse, a stock count, a seasonal peak or a maintenance shutdown, on hire for as long as they are wanted.

Compliance

What a factory's safety officer will want to see

Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006, section 75

Lifting appliances and lifting gear registered and thoroughly examined by an authorised person. This applies to your own overhead cranes and hoists as much as to a hired machine.

Pre-use inspection

A recorded check before each shift, on our equipment and, if you ask us to run it, on yours.

Method statement and risk assessment

We prepare it for the installation or the move and issue it before work starts, so your safety officer can review it.

Permit to work and isolation

Our crews work inside your factory's permit system, with the machine isolated and locked off before we touch it.

Operator competence

Forklift, telehandler and crane operator certificates supplied ahead of mobilisation.
